Characteristics
Almost white or slightly yellowish crystalline powder, odourless, soluble in glacial acetic acid, slightly soluble in methanol and very slightly soluble in water.
Use and function
The product has broad spectrum antibacterial activity against gram-negtive bacterium & anaerobe. Especially, the activity against Gram-positive bacterium such as MRSA, streptococcus pneumoniae, enterococcus faecalis is superior to Norfloxacin, Ofloxacin and Ciprofloxacin. Additionally, the product has the most strongest activity against mycoplasma, chlamydia among the homogenous drugs. On the clinical application, the effective rate against all kinds of infection is not less than the homogenous drugs. Except bacillus pyocyaneus, the bacterial clearance rate against other bacterial infection is quite high, while the adverse reaction and safety have obvious improvement.
