Characteristics:
A white or almost white powder, odorless, hygroscopic; easily soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol，acetone and ether.
Function and Use:
This product is a new aminoglycoside antibiotic with broad spectrum against gram-negtive & gram-positive bacteria. It is used in the treatment of the infections caused by staphylococcus sp., Escherichia coli, Peoteus sp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Serratia sp., and Klebsiella sp., for example, Kidney or urinary system infections, cholecystitis, cartilage tissue infections, wound infection, infection of burn. It is active against gentamycin, micronomycin and amikacin resistant microbes, especially has strong activity against tobramicin-resistant Ps. aeruginosa.
